Alabama Republicans are defending GOP candidate Roy Moore by denying the allegations that he sexually molested a 14-year-old girl when he was 32-years-old and several of the state’s officials have said they would still support him even if the accusations are true because it’s better than voting for a Democrat. There is a total of 4 women who have come forward to say that Moore made advances toward them when they were teenagers. Leigh Corfman says she was 14 years old when she met Moore, who later took her to his home. While there, she said Moore removed her shirt and pants, then removed his clothes. Moore then allegedly touched her over her bra and underpants and guided her hand to touch him over his underwear. Corfman voted for Donald Trump in 2016 so she isn’t a Democrat trying to smear a Republican. Top Republicans are calling for Moore to step down but the state’s Republicans have a different take on the matter.

Five Republican county chairmen told The Star that they did not believe the allegations.

Some officials have said that they would vote for Moore over Democrat Doug Jones.

“I would vote for Judge Moore because I wouldn’t want to vote for Doug,” said Bibb County chairman Jerry Pow, but he added, “I’m not saying I support what he did.”

Covington County chairman William Blocker also said he would consider voting for Moore.

“There is no option to support Doug Jones, the Democratic nominee. When you do that, you are supporting the entire Democrat party,” he said.

Geneva County chairman Riley Seibenhener said that Moore didn’t force himself on the teenager, even though the age of consent in the state is 16-years-old.

“Other than being with an underage person — he didn’t really force himself,” Seibenhener said. “I know that’s bad enough, but I don’t know. If he withdraws, it’s five weeks to the election . . . that would concede it to the Democrat.”

“It was 40 years ago,” Marion County chairman David Hall said. “I really don’t see the relevance of it. He was 32. She was supposedly 14. “She’s not saying that anything happened other than they kissed.”

What Hall said is ‘fake news.’ She said that he touched her over her bra, then over her underwear, then guided her hand down to his genitals over his underwear.

Alabama State Auditor Jim Ziegler dismissed the allegations by lying about the Virgin Mary’s age and he pretty much deflowered her in his version of events when she met Joseph. He obviously has not read the Bible or he’s straight up lying. The Bible never mentions Mary’s age, but Ziegler claims she was a teenager when she met Joseph.

The party of family values, y’all.

As far as Moore’s alleged victim voting for Trump in 2016, it boggles the mind. The Access Hollywood tape was released before the election so there are no excuses for victims of sexual assault supporting a sexual predator.
