At least seven people, all family members, are reported dead after a shooting at a residence outside of Cincinnati, Ohio, according to local reports.
According to the Daily News, the shooter was still active on Friday morning and police have responded to the scene.
WCPO is reporting that the attorney general’s office would not release information other than that there were “multiple homicides.”
A spokesperson with the bureau said more than a dozen agents have been dispatched from the special investigations team, crime scene unit, cyber crime unit and criminal intelligence units, according to NBCDFW.
“The mail carrier told me there’s something seriously bad going on up the road,” said nearby resident Goldie Holderbran. “I’m on the other side of 32 on Union Hill Road. I’m not very far.”
The Pike County Sheriff’s Department declined to release any details Friday morning.
The home is located 75 miles outside of Cincinnati. The names of the victims and the gunman have not been released at this point.
