BOOM: White Lives Matter Has Now Been Designated As A Hate Group

The White Lives Matter group, which considers itself to be an opponent of the Black Lives Matter movement, has been designated as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, an organization that tracks extremist groups in the United States, according to the New York Times.

“The White Lives Matter website says their movement is dedicated to the preservation of the white race. That tells you all you need to know,” said Heidi Beirich, the director of the Intelligence Project at the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Ala. “They’re against integration, immigration. This is standard white supremacist stuff.”

The group, which grew out of a social media meme, argues that white Americans are victims of a genocide caused by factors like the immigration of nonwhite people and marriage between white Christians and nonwhites or Jews, Ms. Beirich said. The law center’s designation is meant to draw attention to and increase scrutiny of the group’s activities.

Last week, a group of armed White Lives Matter protesters gathered outside the Houston NAACP office with Confederate flags. It was a disgusting spectacle but the organizer of the event said, “we’re not out here to start any problems.” They yelled into microphones with people inside the building. Some members of the group carried assault rifles. One of the members held a sign reading, “14 words,’ which is a slogan coined by David Lane, a member of the terrorist group ‘The Order.’ “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children,” are the 14 words the woman holding the sign is referring to.

The organizer was first spotted wearing a ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt at a protest outside a Houston Islamic center in May. “We feel Texas, our great state and the United States is being threatened by the influx of Islam,” he said. Freedom of religion apparently isn’t a thing for this group of racists.

Just under the video of their demonstration outside of the NAACP are some lovely comments.

And those are the nice comments.
