Former boxer Roberto Duran (Roberto Durán Samaniego) would very much like to fight GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump. Maybe he was joking, maybe not. During a Twitter live-chat while promoting the upcoming film ‘Hands of Stone” which opens later this month, Duran was asked by a fan, “If you could fight someone today, who would it be?” In his native tongue, Duran said he would fight Donald Trump. Actor Edgar Ramirez, who is also in the film, translated the conversation.

Duran, one of the few boxers to compete in five different decades, challenged Trump to get inside the ring with him and “see how strong he is.”
The 65 year old Panamanian legend is widely regarded as one of the greatest boxers of all time and is quite capable of taking on Trump’s tiny little Twitter hands.
“To see how many Latin people he wants to deport, and see how strong he really is.” Duran said of Trump. He further said the GOP Nominee’s blatant disrespect to the Latino community has become a cultural war and he would proudly defend his people.
‘Hands of Stone’ will be starring Edgar Ramirez as Duran himself, Usher and Robert De Niro.
C’mon Trump, prove how tough you are. After all, you don’t really have weak, little hands, right? Stop staring at me like that you guys, you know you’d like to take a swing at the bombastic billionaire candidate, too. Admit it. Confession is good for the soul.
Trump should note that Duran was nicknamed “Manos de Piedra” -which translates to ‘Hands of Stone’ during his career due to his devastating punching power.
Take the challenge, Trump. Let’s see what you’ve got, Sport.
