Delusional Steve Bannon Claims Trump Will Win Reelection With ‘400 Electoral Votes’

Earlier this week, a report in Vanity Fair quoted a source close to Brietbart CEO Steve Bannon as having said that he gave Donald Trump no better than a 30 percent chance of making it through his first term in office. That same source also mentioned that Bannon felt sure Trump would be removed from office via the 25th Amendment, which provides for replacing an incompetent or incapacitated president.

But during his speech to the Values Voters Summit on Saturday, Bannon, who worked in the White House as a counselor to Trump before he was booted to the curb by Trump, was singing a much different tune, telling the group of pretend Christians that Trump would be reelected in 2020:

“The populist, nationalist, conservative revolt that’s going on, that drove Donald Trump to victory, that drove Judge [Roy] Moore to victory, that will drive 15 candidates to victory in 2018, and I hate to break it Graydon Carter and the good folks at Vanity Fair, but yes, President Trump is not only going to finish this term, he’s going to win with 400 electoral votes in 2020.”

While he was at it, Bannon also declared war on Republican members of Congress, saying he would “get to the progressive Democrats, (but) right now it’s a season of war against the GOP establishment.”

The stance against the “GOP establishment” is the latest attack by Bannon on Congressional Republicans. During an interview with Sean Hannity this week, Bannon declared:

“There’s a coalition coming together that is going to challenge every Republican incumbent except for Ted Cruz.”

What Bannon has been far less clear about is how he expects a sitting president with a 32 percent approval rating to win reelection. He also hasn’t explained how he intends to stem the tide of recent polling which shows Democrats may be on the verge of retaking the House of Representatives in 2018.

Bannon, much like Trump, doesn’t care for facts. Facts tend to get in the way of the endless lies, propaganda, and bullshit.
