Donald Trump Claims 20,000 Attended His Event. The Only Problem Is He Was Off 16,000

Donald Trump boasted on Twitter that 15,000 supporters attended his event in Phoenix, Arizona.

Alan at Liberaland notes, “The Phoenix venue holds just 4100, so his count is a bit off.”

The Daily Kos reports:

Before the event the Republican Presidential hopeful boasted about an expected 9000 attendees. There were enough RSVPs that they had to change the venue to the North Ballroom of the Phoenix convention center.

Once the crowd had gathered, Trump posted a picture on Facebook with the caption, “This is what 15,000 people looks like.”

The press estimated the crowd at around 4,000 to 5,000. According to our calculations (a liberal plot to discredit Donald Trump) his math is all kinds of fucked up.

Trump mocked media outlets for doubting his self-proclaimed $9 billion fortune, proof of which the real-estate mogul claims that he will release next week, according to Business Insider.

“I’m much, much richer than what they say,” Trump said. “I’m a private person, nobody knows.”

During his speech, Trump quadrupled down on previous remarks saying,”They’re sending us their problems,” in reference to Mexico.

He spoke of Benghazi Benghazi Benghazi, a point which no Conservative has dared to touch except for all of them.

Math is hard. I’ll just drop this right here.

Bernie Sanders did not hire actors. For his presidential launch, Trump paid actors $50 a pop to pretend to like him. I’m going to go out on a limb here and suggest that a few of the 4,000 attendees were paid.

Donald Trump is a widely mocked for good reasons. He’s the GOP frontrunner. He has also filed for bankruptcy multiple times. Think about that.

We do hope the GOP nominates Trump. 2016 is looking good for Democratic candidates Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton.
