Half-term governor of Alaska Sarah Palin weighed in on Britain’s vote to leave the European Union, saying it reminds her of the Declaration of Independence. No, seriously. She wrote that with her busy little fingers, or perhaps her ghostwriter did.
“The U.K. knew — it was that time. And now is that time in the U.S.A. The Brexit referendum is akin to our own Declaration of Independence,” the failed vice-presidential candidate wrote on Facebook.
“May that refreshed spirit of sovereignty spread over the pond to America’s shores! American can learn an encouraging lesson from this,”‘ she continued.
The Hill reports:
Palin said she hoped the vote will inspire the U.S. to leave the United Nations.
“It is time to dissolve political bands that connect us to agendas not in our best interest,” she wrote. “May U.N. shackles be next on the chopping block.”
Palin then praised Britain for choosing smaller government and greater self-reliance in her rambling post.
“Congratulations, smart Brits. Good on you for ignoring all the fear mongering from special interest globalists who tend to aim for that apocalyptic One World Government that dissolves a nation’s self-determination and sovereignty… the EU being a One World Government mini-me,” she wrote.
Mmkay, meanwhile, The London Economic tweeted, “The UK is no longer the world’s 5th largest economy. The £ has fallen so far that France has overtaken us. #EUref”

Also, meanwhile, Nigel Farage, a big pro-Brexit [Britain Exit] fan, is having second thoughts on leaving the EU.
You see, the right wing Brexit leader admitted that the exodus was based on a lie. Sarah Palin is a huge supporter of Donald Trump’s and earlier this month, her boy didn’t even know what the term ‘Brexit’ meant. And that might explain why, instead of addressing this potentially world-changing event, Trump offered what appeared to be an infomercial in Scotland. That’s right, the GOP presumptive nominee was publicizing his golf courses instead of discussing a highly important issue. But economics Professor Sarah Palin, the Knower of Stuff, thinks Brexit was a winning idea.
And no, Dear, it’s nothing like the Declaration of Independence. Also, the U.N. and the EU are two totally different things.
Oddly, the drunken woman’s Facebook post has been ‘liked’ over 11.000 times and it’s been shared 1,967 times so far. You’re drunk Sarah, go home.
