Anti-Muslim activist Pamela Geller, whose art-contest show she sponsored was targeted by gunmen, appeared Tuesday morning on Fox News and responded to Donald Trump’s criticism over her decision to mock another religion publicly.
Geller compared herself to civil rights hero Rosa Parks.
Donald Trump’s claim that she was taunting Muslims with her anti-Islam events, American Freedom Defense Initiative head Pamela Geller wondered whether Trump would have also told Rosa Parks to go to the back of the bus.
“What would he have said about Rosa Parks?” Gellar asked. “‘Rosa Parks should never have gone to the front of the bus. She’s taunting people.’”
“No, no, no, no, no,” host Martha MacCallum said. “How do you make the Rosa Parks comparison?…They’re saying if you want to make a difference, you do it in a Christian way, you don’t do it in a crass way by insulting someone’s religion.”
“Yeah, well, I will not bridge my freedom so as not to offend savages,” Gellar said.
So Geller believes that all Muslims are savages.
Geller thinks ridiculing another religion is the same as standing up to oppression. She poked a rattlesnake and it bit her, so now she’s feigning to be a champion of Free Speech. You can’t make this stuff up.
Rosa Parks did not ‘taunt’ people by sitting in the front of the bus, as Geller claims. She was tired. Ms. Parks, a black woman, was part of a minority which had been stifled and oppressed. Geller is a bigot.
Geller is an advocate of hate speech, not free speech.
