In a column written for The Washington Post on Friday, former aide to George W. Bush called on the GOP to take action against a President who is clearly unfit for office and whose erratic behavior could cause irreparable harm to our country.
Michael Gerson, who was director of speech writing for the Bush administration, stated:
It is no longer possible to safely ignore the leaked cries for help coming from within the administration. They reveal a president raging against enemies, obsessed by slights, deeply uninformed and incurious, unable to focus, and subject to destructive whims.
In other words, it is time for GOP leadership to stop speculating about Trump’s erratic behavior and take action to remove him from office before he destroys our government or starts WWIII and kills millions of people.
Gerson’s call to action comes after a month of escalated infighting between high ranking members of the GOP and Trump, including a public feud with GOP Senator Bob Corker after Corker referred to the Trump White House as an “adult daycare center.”
It’s a shame the White House has become an adult day care center. Someone obviously missed their shift this morning.

The time for whispered criticisms and quiet snickering is over. The time for panic and decision is upon us.
We could not agree more, Mr. Gerson. It is time for our government’s leadership to stop treating Mr. Trump like a petulant child or an embarrassingly ignorant but mostly harmless leader and start taking his obvious insanity seriously before it is too late.
