Fox Host Dumbfounded That The Charleston Shooting Is Designated As A ‘Hate Crime’

Charleston Police officials have described the mass shooting at the Emanuel AME Church in South Carolina, as a “hate crime” perpetrated by a white male in his 20s.

Naturally, no one on Fox News is paying attention.

On Thursday, Fox’s Steve Doocy and guest E.W. Jackson on Fox & Friends expressed doubt as to claims the shooting was done by racial hatred, even though the crime was committed in one of the nation’s oldest African-American churches.

They both suggested, if anything, the mass shooting was part of a “War on Christians” in America, because derp.

“There does seem to be a rising hostility against Christians in this country because of our biblical views,” Jackson, a right wing pastor, said after calling for everyone wait for the facts. “It is something we have to be aware of.”

Doocy added later that, “Extraordinarily, they called it a ‘hate crime,’ and some look at it as, ‘Well, because it was a white guy and a black church,’ but you made a great point earlier about the hostility towards Christians. And it was a church. So maybe that’s what they were talking about. They haven’t explained it to us.”

Jackson weighed in to agree with Doocy saying, “Most people jump to conclusions about race. I long for the day when we stop doing that in our country. But we don’t know why he went into a church, but he didn’t choose a bar, he didn’t choose a basketball court, he chose a church.”

The Fox hosts believe this is a wake up call for more guns in churches.

But there’s this little detail:

This is what pain looks like:

Watch, uploaded by Stewart’s News:

A Democratic lawmaker, among 8 others, was murdered, which sounds totally does not like a ‘war on Christians.’

South Carolina is home to 19 known hate groups — including two factions of the Ku Klux Klan and four “white nationalist” organizations, but by all means, let’s not discuss issues regarding race.
