Fox Business News Host Maria Bartiromo was called out on Twitter by members of the media after she made the bizarre claim that “there are no allegations against the president” of sexual harassment or assault, when in fact, there are 16 women who stepped forward to accuse the former reality show star of – wait for it – assault, sexual harassment, and other inappropriate behavior. It’s like she doesn’t watch the news even though she works for a network. Late last month, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that all the women who have accused Trump of sexual harassment are lying.

Bartiromo faced criticism from a number of other media figures and even though she’s not tweeting or replying, she must not have liked the backlash so she blocked them, according to Mediaite.

CNN senior media correspondent Brian Stelter sent out an innocuous but critical tweet then displayed an image showing that the Fox Business anchor had blocked him.

Journalist Yashar Ali tweeted to Stelter that he, too, was blocked following a few tweets about the Fox anchor.

As Joy Reid put it, Bartiromo appears to have gone full-Hannity.

Weird. It’s almost as if Bartiromo needs a safe place.
