Freudian Slip? Sean Spicer Tweets That Tillerson Is A ‘Patriot’ Who ‘Severed Our Nation’


Shortly after Donald Trump fired Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and announced his replacement on Twitter, former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer thought he’d give Tillerson a tip of the cap as Trump booted him to the curb:

Severed our nation? Hmm. This might be one of the few times when Spicer actually told the truth.

No doubt you recall Sean declaring that the Trump inauguration crowd was the largest in history, even though visual evidence suggested it wasn’t anywhere near as big as Obama’s. Then again, it’s safe to say that Donald Trump doesn’t “measure up” to Obama in lots of areas:

Now that Spicey has proven yet again that he doesn’t have a firm grasp of the facts (or the ability to spellcheck his tweets), let’s check out the response from others on social media:
