Kim Davis Travels To Romania to Advance Anti-LGBTQ Agenda (VIDEO)

Kentucky’s own Rowan County Clerk and Conservative darling, Kim Davis may have lost her fight to use her government position to enforce her personal religious beliefs back in 2016, but that doesn’t mean she’s given up. Even after Davis spent five days in jail in 2015 for contempt of court, she continued to press for her religious beliefs to be accepted as law. She continued her attempts until her final appeals were dismissed, due to the state of Kentucky changing the law to allow marriage licenses to be issued without the name of the County Clerk appearing on them.

Not content with her loss in the U.S., Davis has now decided to travel to Romania to continue to fight against equal treatment under the law in a country more sympathetic to persecuting minorities under the guise of religion.

According to Liberty Counsel, over three million of Romania’s 20 million citizens have signed a petition to define “marriage” as between one man and one woman,” and:

The petition was unanimously approved by Romania’s Constitutional Court and is now awaiting final approval in the Senate before the referendum can take place.

Davis is traveling in Romania with Harry Mihet, Liberty Counsel’s vice president of legal affairs and chief litigation counsel. Liberty Counsel is the same anti-LGBTQ hate group that supported Davis in her fight against the legal system in the U.S.

Davis and Mihet plan to be in Romania for nine days, participating in anti-marriage equality conferences in several large Romanian cities, including Bucharest, Timisoara, and others.

In one of her speeches, in Sibiu, Romania,  Davis talks about how she “fell in love with the Romanian people” and that she isn’t there to “try to impress upon” the people of Romania what she believes. She then goes on to do exactly that, saying:

Natural marriage is defined as a union between one man and one woman, for life, for procreation.

She also claimed that her actions were not about LGBTI rights, saying that:

For me, my stand was never a gay or lesbian issue. it was about defending God’s divine plan of marriage
