Laura Ingraham Gets Dragged On Twitter For Whining About ‘Potheads’

Right-wingers just love to paint liberals as “snowflakes” for daring to complain about injustice and inequality in America, but it turns out that the ones tossing the accusation around happen to be pretty damn delicate themselves.

Consider the case of Fox “News” host Laura Ingraham, who was watching New Year’s Eve coverage on CNN when a reporter did a live remote from a party in Colorado where people were smoking marijuana because it just so happens to be legal in the state. Ingraham immediately tweeted out this:

Here we go again! Let’s crank up the War on Drugs yet again and start spreading outright lies about weed. Schizophrenia, psychosis, impaired driving? Really? How about this little statistic Ms. Ingraham conveniently managed to omit: Number of deaths each year in the United States attributable to alcohol, which is legal in all 50 states: 88,000.

Now let’s look at how many people die each year as a result of marijuana. That number would be ZERO.

Fortunately, plenty of others on Twitter reminded Laura that she was the real twit in this entire debate:

Here’s a free market, common sense solution to the entire matter of weed in America: If you don’t want to use it, don’t. If you do, that’s your business. See how that works, Laura?
