The White House has tried to defend Donald Trump’s tweets. Team Trump must be dying of exhaustion and right now, they’re probably throwing their arms up in the air after the amateur president’s latest tweet. It’s worth noting that White House press secretary Sean Spicer and Sarah Huckabee Sanders have both previously said that Trump’s tweets speak for themselves.

The former reality show star just came out and admitted that he has no secret recordings of conversations that he had with former FBI Director James Comey.

“With all of the recently reported electronic surveillance, intercepts, unmasking and illegal leaking of information, I have no idea…” Trump tweeted.

Here it comes.

“…whether there are “tapes” or recordings of my conversations with James Comey, but I did not make, and do not have, any such recordings,” It wrote in the following tweet.

In mid-May, Trump threatened Comey on Twitter.

Trump’s latest tweet didn’t go down well on the Internet.

BOOM!

Trump is nervous. He had until the end of the week to turn over to the House Intel Committee all memos about, and any tapes of, conversations with James Comey.
