17-year-old Panther Creek High School student Kenneth Halker of Wake County was arrested last Monday for allegedly assaulting a girl in the cafeteria, according to WTVD.

By Tuesday, Halker texted a male student with a message that read: “You’re number 5 on my list”.

According to the search warrant, he’s also accused of sending the same student various messages about filling his body with bullets.

Halker then took to social media, mentioned he had a hit list and stated he was going to “come back into Panther Creek High School with his .45 and fill bodies with bullets”.

Halker uploaded an image on Snapchat with two AR-15 assault rifles surrounded with multiple piles of ammunition containing pistol, rifle, and shotgun rounds as well as a ballistic vest with rifle ammunition pouches and knives, according to police.

Along with the image, was the comment, “Hahaha did ya’ll think this was a game? Plz take a step”.

At 2:15 a.m. last Thursday, Halker was arrested at his home.

Halker’s father confirmed to investigators that he did have firearms in the home but told them they were locked up and did not believe his son knew the passcode in order to have access to them.

Police observed that the weapons Halker posted to social media were not the same as the father’s.

The authorities are investigating the possibility that perhaps the teenager took the pictures from the Internet.

Nothing was found on Halker’s cellphone.

According to what Halker told police, he was jumped by the five males that he allegedly threatened who ere on his hit list.

He further told police that he’s been very depressed lately. He said that he felt like it was him against the world.

An actual hit list or weapons were not discovered in the home.

Halker is charged with the misdemeanor of communicating threats.

Police confirm Halker has been suspended for the time being.
