Voters say they prefer Democratic candidates for the House of Representatives over Republicans by the widest margin in over a decade, according to a Washington Post-ABC News poll which was taken before Doug Jones’ stunning victory in the Alabama Senate race. Donald Trump backed Luther Strange in that race, then alleged pedophile Roy Moore, both of whom were defeated. In the end, a Democrat took the seat, the first time in a generation in that deep-red state. in Virginia, Trump backed Ed Gillespie, who was defeated by Democrat Ralph Northam.
But, according to Trump, he knew all along that the candidates he backed would lose because he also predicted that he would win the presidential election.
“Remember, Republicans are 5-0 in Congressional Races this year,” the 71-year-old Twitter addict wrote. “The media refuses to mention this. I said Gillespie and Moore would lose (for very different reasons), and they did. I also predicted “I” would win. Republicans will do well in 2018, very well!”
For some reason, Trump tagged Fox & Friends in his tweet and put quotation marks around “I.”

Trump is 0-3 this year for endorsing candidates: Gillespie (Va), Strange (AL), Moore (AL)

Yeah, you’ve been batting 1.000 this whole time.
Your intellect and capacity for rational foresight is staggering.
“Staggering” in the sense of “probably drunk.”

Two crazy things about this statement: (1) His emphasis on “I” and (2) the cc to @FoxNews as a way to tell a (state controlled?) broadcaster what to discuss. It’s stunning.

Go back to bed and sleep it off, Mr. Trump.
