This guy seems nice. According to police, a Toronto-based pastor is accused of sexually assaulting a woman while performing exorcisms on her.

Pastor

Wayne Marlon, 53, of the United Spiritual Baptist Church, is facing charges after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman, and convinced her to give him money and  property, while he  spiritually treating her from 2011-2013, according to Toronto Police.

ABC News reports:

During that time, Marlon allegedly assaulted the woman while performing exorcisms on her. The woman was allegedly convinced by Jones to turn over her money and property to him, the Toronto Sun reports.

Jones became an ordained minister in 1987 and started his own congregation, the Mt. Ararat Spiritual Baptist Church, according to the Toronto Sun. Jones became a bishop in 1990.

Jones’ church had been operating for seven years but vacated in August after a dispute with Ontario’s Municipal Board, where Jones was denied “the place of worship to remain on the main floor with a residential dwelling unit in the basement,” according to the Toronto Sun.

“Weird things go on over (at Jones’ church,)” Sue Lamonday, 60, told the Toronto Sun. “It didn’t make sense people would be there at 2 a.m. until 4, 5, 6 a.m. I walked by last summer and heard (a man) screaming, ‘God is going to save you from the fires of hell if you hand over your help any way you can.'”

Police are currently investigating if there have been other victims. Jones is set to appear Feb. 11 at Old City Hall court, the Toronto Sun reports.
