Donald Trump has a serious problem with African-American voters, with many polls finding that more than 90 percent of black voters find him unfavorable.

So, it should come as no surprise that the Trump campaign and fans of the candidate are trying to do something about it. One Trump fan recently came up with a way to counteract the candidate’s disapproval among blacks by hijacking the Twitter account of a young black woman named Christelle and using her photo to create the fake Twitter handle BlackGirl4Trump.

When Christelle found out, she began alerting her followers and then informed Twitter what was going on:

NOTE: The fake BlackGirl4Trump account has now been removed.

Trump’s relationship with blacks is quite well-documented. In a Washington Post article published this month, the newspaper investigated the Trump organization and found there are few, if any, black executives in the upper ranks. Other m minorities at that level are “scarce” too.

Former Trump executives say they cannot recall a single black vice president-level executive at Trump’s headquarters during their combined tenures at the Trump Organization ranging from 1980 to late in the past decade. Reviews of information posted by Trump and family members, as well as Trump’s acknowledgements thanking executives in his books also fail to identify any senior black employees past or present.

Sure, Trump is the first real presidential candidate to use Twitter. But he’s received a lot of negative attention for his tweets, which get hundreds of replies from sycophants and detractors alike, including our dear Conover. What is truly disturbing is that a lot of his followers are overtly white supremacists who spread intense racist propaganda.

Trump became famous for retweeting an account called @WhiteGenocideTM back in January. He’s also retweeted white-nationalist account @NeilTurner_ and fellow-traveler @keksec__org “repeatedly,” per a Fortune analysis of Trump’s relationship to the #WhiteGenocide community on Twitter. Yikes!

If you spend time looking at the replies to Trump’s tweets, you’ll see these three accounts pop up, over and over. Tweet after tweet, they’re the first responders to Trump, no matter what subject or time of day, and he’s retweeted all three of them.

Is it any wonder why the African-American community finds Donald Trump one of the most racist candidates in modern times?
