Republicans Stay Awkwardly Silent As Reporters Fire Off Questions About Roy Moore (VIDEO)

Some Republicans have called for alleged child diddler Roy Moore to step down in the Alabama Senate race, and that includes Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, however, that was said ‘if’ the report, which was confirmed by 30 people, is true. And there’s a total of four accusers. Republicans have twisted themselves into pretzels trying to defend Moore. Rep. Ed Henry, a ‘pro-life’ conservative and father of two young daughters, went as far as to call for Moore’s victims to be prosecuted.

A 44-second video captured by CNN shows reporters asking top Republicans, including McConnell, Sen. Chuck Grassley, and Steve Mnuchin, questions about the Moore pedo scandal. Grassley giggled nervously while Mnuchin sat there with a stoic look on his face, as McConnell just sat there and smiled.

There’s an odd silence from Republicans as reporters fired off questions.

A reporter asked, “Do you believe these women who have made allegations against Roy Moore?”

That’s a pretty simple question, don’t you think? Another good question would be: Why do all of you support President Gropey McGroperson?

Are all of Trump’s accusers lying, too? Because that’s what the White House said. That hasn’t been brought up yet as far as I know, but it’s a valid question which would likely get the same silence we witnessed in the video above.

Remember the previous Republican presidential candidate conservatives supported named Mitt Romney?

“Innocent until proven guilty is for criminal convictions, not elections,” Romney tweeted. “I believe Leigh Corfman. Her account is too serious to ignore. Moore is unfit for office and should step aside.”

And that’s how you answer the question Republicans couldn’t seem to answer today.
