Back in the day, Donald Trump’s chats with Howard Stern were just one raunchy celebrity dishing with another. Now it’s coming back to bite him on the ass.

When Dr. Oz asked the alleged unregistered sex offender about his interviews with the original talk radio “shock jock,” he replied:

“Now, had I known I was going to be a politician, I wouldn’t have done his show. Or I would have given him very boring answers.”

Now, Howard Stern’s finally breaking his silence on his risqué sessions with Donald Trump. CNN‘s Brian Stelter reports he first explained why he wasn’t the one who replayed all those tapes.

“Why don’t I play all the tapes? I have to tell you why — I feel Donald Trump did the show in an effort to be entertaining and have fun with us. And I feel it would be a betrayal to any of our guests.”

And no, that’s not politically motivated. Despite his long friendship with the alleged billionaire, Howard Stern is a strong supporter of Hillary Clinton. But of course, as Brian Stelter points out, reporters and Trump opponents are finding the footage “whether Stern wants them to or not.”

The Los Angeles Times adds that Howard Stern also admits he egged Donald Trump for his listeners’ ribald amusement.

“I fully knew what I was doing when I interviewed Trump. I knew I had a guy who loved to talk about sex.… I had a guy who loved to evaluate women on a scale of 1 to 10. These are avenues I went down because I knew it would entertain the audience.”

As for Donald Trump’s claims that his vile “grab them by the pussy” comment is just normal “locker room talk”…Even the ever-smutty Howard Stern says he’s never heard anyone else talk like that.

“I have never been in the room when someone has said, ‘Grab them by the pussy’ No one’s ever advocated going that step where you get a little bit, ‘Hey I’m going to invade someone’s space.'”

That’s right. Donald Trump’s so-called “locker room talk” was too over-the-top for Howard Stern, and that’s saying a lot. Howard Stern even told his listeners he was flabbergasted when Mein Trumpf threw his hat in the ring for the highest office in the land.

“I said, ‘Why are you doing this?’ Why would a guy with billions of dollars [run for president]?…Don’t you know what they’re gonna do to you? Don’t you know they’re gonna open up everything?'”

And of all people, Howard Stern should know.
