There’s a good reason that #TrumpSoPoor is trending on Twitter. Details have emerged on the GOP presumptive nominee’s fundraising and spending which are disturbing. We’ll put that aside for the moment to explain how bad things are for the ‘self-funding’ billionaire, who lies about his wealth.
The hotel magnate started in June with just $1.3 million in cash on hand. As the New York Times puts it, that amount is “more typical for a campaign for the House of Representatives than the White House.” In contrast, Hillary Clinton raised more than $28 million in May, leading Trump by more than $41 million, according to reports filed late Monday night with the Federal Election Commission. Ouch! Hillary’s campaign has more than 35 times the cash than Donald’s campaign.
Trump has a staff of around 70 people. Hillary’s staff is about 700 people. Ouch again.
Here it comes.
Trump’s presidential campaign paid more than $1 million last month to companies controlled by the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, according to the Huffington Post.
The figure represents payments for facilities rental, catering, monthly rents and utilities at more than a half-dozen Trump-owned companies and properties. It includes nearly $350,000 that the Trump campaign paid a Trump-owned company, TAG Air, for the use of Trump’s private jets and helicopters.
The most striking expenditure in the new filings was $423,372, paid by the Trump campaign for rentals and catering at Trump’s 126-room Palm Beach, Florida, mansion, Mar-A-Lago, which Trump operates as a private club.
Trump raised a total of $5.6 million from May 1 to May 31, $2.2 million of which was in the form of loans from Trump personally, Mother Jones reports.
That’s very bad. It means Trump raised just $3.4 million from people other than himself. His vanquished opponent Cruz, whose campaign had melted away, raised $2.6 million over the same time period.

Trump is totally crushing Clinton in the all-important campaign infrastructure category of hat buying. https://t.co/qRdEQZlhww

Trump’s campaign is paying Trump. We don’t even know if this is legal.

Mitt Romney’s campaign in 2012, raised $86.5 million in May during the 2012 presidential race and he lost handily to Barack Obama.
20 percent of Trump’s campaign spending goes to his businesses. In short, Trump’s supporters have been used. They’re LOSERS! There is a reason Trump won’t release his taxes. The signs were there but his supporters thought he was wealthy and backed him just like they did Mitt Romney, except the latter never bragged about his wealth. Trump will ‘build a wall’ and make you pay for it. The worst part about his supporters is that they afford him any excuse possible while wanting to give him the keys to the White House even if it destroys our economy (and it would). The racist candidate is about to see his campaign fall to pieces in 3…2….
Don’t let the door hit ya’.
