“I’m appalled by it. It’s so disturbing,” said senior Sophie Martof.
According to court documents, Fuchs was involved in a sexual act with the boy at her home when her husband walked in on them. The two allegedly traded emails, texts and she sent a sexual video of herself to him.
In one text message to the victim, Fuchs wrote, “Well, protect me as best you can. Remember NOTHING COMES OUT EVER! About anything you have been to my house only once. Lie like you have NEVER lied before.”
According to police records obtained by KIRO, Fuchs and her alleged teenage lover traded a series of texts, emails, and Snapchats that were “sexual in nature” and “detailed sexual activity.” Fuch also allegedly sent the teen a video of herself masturbating and titled the clip “ForMyBaby!”
The two were apparently discovered when Fuchs’ husband walked in on her “performing oral sex on the teenager” in their home; the teen’s mother also found incriminating Snapchats on her son’s phone.
Fuchs reportedly searched on her school computer “how to permanently delete cellphone records” on the same day school officials were alerted in regards to her relationship with the student.
She even searched “Paternity Tests.”
After a two month and a half investigation, Fuchs was arrested on Thursday.
“It is very unsettling and deeply disturbing to all of us to have these kinds of charges leveled against a person who was a staff member here,” said Bainbridge Island Schools Superintendent Faith Chapel.
Students didn’t take previous rumors seriously about Fuchs, until now. .
“I know a lot of people are like, ‘he’s a boy and it must be great for him, every teenaged boy’s dream.’ But I really think it isn’t. I really think it’s just taking advantage of a young boy,” on student said.
