A Wisconsin man from Fond du Lac messed with the wrong deer. This deer has had it, dammit.
The man was injured Friday evening when he was attacked by the deer that he had wounded with an arrow, according to the Fond du Lac Reporter.
When the man was out bow hunting, he wounded the doe with an arrow, then later went back out to track the animal, Officer Jeff Bonack said.
That’s when the hunter became the hunted.
“Apparently the man was going through some thick brush and the deer leaped out and went after him,” Bonack said. “The doe struck him in the leg with her head.”
Bonack said the 72-year old had been out hunting with other family members.
“I’m guessing the deer got away,” Bonack said.
The 72-year-old man was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, according Bonack.
‘Sources say’, the doe could be heard snickering as it frolicked away back to its deer family in the woods.
