Track Palin Gets Off Lightly After Pleading Guilty To Punching Girlfriend In The Face (VIDEO)

What happens after you get arrested for punching your girlfriend in the face? Not much, if you're Track Palin. Last week, he signed a sweet plea deal.

What happens after you get arrested for punching your girlfriend in the face? Not much, if you’re Track Palin.

The Alaska Dispatch News reports Track Palin, spawn of Sarah Palin, signed a sweet plea deal last week to make his pesky domestic violence case go away. Oh, and he didn’t even have to deal with a normal court. Instead, he was brought before a special court for veterans.

Track Palin gets two of three charges dismissed.

On Friday, Track Palin’s attorney Kevin Fitzgerald announced his client  pleaded guilty to misconduct involving weapons (in the fourth degree) while having a firearm while under the influence of alcohol. In exchange, the other two misdemeanor charges of domestic violence assault and interfering with the report of a domestic violence crime were dropped.

“As a condition of his entry into that court the state dismissed the first two counts, Track pled to misconduct involving weapons (in the fourth degree), concerning being under the influence and having a firearm.”

Now, all Track Palin has to do is get treatment for his alcohol problem.

Track Palin will have to complete a regime of “alcohol-related” treatment under the terms of this week’s agreement, Fitzgerald said. Upon successful completion of the treatment, the weapons-misconduct charge will be expunged from his record. But if that doesn’t happen, Palin will receive a 180-day suspended jail sentence and be placed under informal probation for two years.

The fact that young black men get murdered in cold blood for broken tail lights while sons of half-wit, half-term GOP governors get off so lightly for assaulting women proves our criminal justice system is totally fucked up.

The police report on Track Palin is pretty damning.

The police report from January reveals this wasn’t just some kind of “he said-she said” kind of thing. It was serious. Track Palin’s girlfriend was found “hiding and crying underneath a bed inside the residence [of Sarah and Todd Palin]” after he’d punched her in the face and then held a gun to his head and threatened to kill himself.

Palin approached [Redacted] and struck her on the left side of her head near her eye with a closed fist. [Redacted] got on the ground in a fetal position because she didn’t know what else he would do. Palin then kicked [redacted] on the right knee. [Redacted]’s phone was sitting on the ground in front of her. Palin took her phone and threw it across the driveway. She retrieved the phone and went inside the house. Palin was already inside and holding onto a gun, yelling “do you think I’m a pussy?” and “do you think I won’t do it?”

The name of Track Palin’s (hopefully ex-) girlfriend is redacted (removed) from the police report to protect her privacy.  Here are the charges that were filed against him:

Sarah Palin blames son’s arrest on Barack Obama.

But here’s the kicker. Back when Track Palin was arrested, Sarah “Bible Spice” Palin told reporters she blamed her son’s ongoing problems with alcohol on President Barack Obama. Why? Because, even though he’d never seen a single day of combat, Mama Grizzly claims this booze-weary veteran has PTSD. And, never mind the fact that Republicans are the ones who keep cutting funding for veterans, she’s holding the president responsible.
