After presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump’s endorsement from the National Rifle Association yesterday, the hotel magnate continued to target Hillary Clinton on the issue of guns. In one tweet, the GOP front-runner writes, “Crooked Hillary Clinton wants to essentially abolish the 2nd Amendment. No gun owner can ever vote for Clinton!”
Just as Republicans tried to claim that Obama would confiscate guns, that same rhetoric is being applied to Clinton.
An advisor to Trump attempted to echo the billionaire candidate’s lie, and instead of brushing it off, the CNN panel on Friday burst out laughing.
Raw Story reports:
Turning to Trump advisor Stephen Miller, host Don Lemon got right to the point.
“I want to talk about the 2nd Amendment,” Lemon began. “Because Donald Trump continues to say that Hillary Clinton wants to abolish the 2nd Amendment. That is false. That is false by every fact-checker, by the campaign, by her, by everyone who is listening but Donald Trump. Why does he continues to say that?”
“Because it’s true, ” Miller began, before pausing as the entire panel, including Lemon, began to laugh uproariously.

Trump said in front of the NRA audience, just after calling the Democratic presidential candidate “Lying Hillary” that she “wants to abolish the Second Amendment.”
That’s all they needed to hear.
On Twitter, Clinton responded, writing, “You’re wrong, @realDonaldTrump. We can uphold Second Amendment rights while preventing senseless gun violence.”

Trump is trying the same tactics Republicans used against Obama. He will ‘abolish’ the Second Amendment then confiscate your guns. In total, Obama has confiscated zero guns.
In Trumps 2000 book, “The America We Deserve,” the hotel magnate wrote that he supported a ban on assault weapons and argued in favor of a longer waiting period to purchase a gun.
What we’re saying here is, Donald Trump is full of shit.
