Vice President Mike Pence got up and left the Indianapolis Colts game after being triggered by players kneeling during the national anthem in silent protest over racial inequality and police misconduct. Pence went on quite a tweetstorm to justify his decision to walk out of the game.

“I left today’s Colts game because @POTUS and I will not dignify any event that disrespects our soldiers, our Flag, or our National Anthem,” he tweeted.

Exxccuuuuse me, but my husband and other military members did not go overseas to force black athletes to sit, thankyouverymuch. And by protesting, it’s an honor to the flag and everything it symbolizes.

Trump admitted on Twitter that he asked Pence to leave if any of the players chose not to stand.

“I asked @VP Pence to leave stadium if any players kneeled, disrespecting our country,” he tweeted. “I am proud of him and @SecondLady Karen.”

Meanwhile, Puerto Rico is still devastated with only 9 percent of the island’s power restored and these fuckwits are more concerned over whether black athletes sit or stand. This is why we can’t have nice things.
