On Wednesday, excerpts from a book on former White House Strategist and current Breitbart News chief Stephen K. Bannon made the all-out war between Donald Trump’s White House and Bannon explode in a very public way. In the book, Bannon unloads on Trump, the administration, and the whole White House crime family. Trump himself released a furious statement on Bannon, and now his mini me, Donald Trump Jr., is weighing in.
Of course, Trump Jr. would be furious as well; after all in the book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House by Michael Wolff, Junior is directly accused of treason by Bannon with regards to his meeting with the Russians in Trump Tower during the 2016 campaign. Trump Jr., instead of directly addressing Bannon’s statements, went after the idea that Bannon’s loyal Breitbart readers are turning on him because he is no longer a loyal Trumpkin:
Wow, Just looked at the comments section on Breitbart. Wow. When Bannon has lost Breitbart, he’s left with . . . umm, nothing.

With regards to that infamous meeting, Bannon says in the book:
“The chance that Don Jr. did not walk these jumos up to his father’s office on the twenty-sixth floor is zero.”
Of course, that is probably true, and Bannon, who is largely credited with getting Trump over the finish line and into the White House after his many controversies and scandals, is the one who would know a piece of juicy inside information like that. Nevertheless, Trump Jr. has a point as well – Breitbart was Bannon’s weapon, and if the base turns on Bannon and the alt-right platform he has created there, a very real possibility exists that Bannon fades into complete irrelevancy in short order. After all, there’s plenty of pro-Trump sites for these people to flock to – some even more racist, misogynistic, homophobic, xenophobic, and openly white nationalist than Breitbart News could ever hope to be.
Either way, get your popcorn ready, folks. This is a public war we never thought we’d have the pleasure of witnessing, and hopefully, it signals the beginning of the end of Bannon, Trump and his criminal family, and perhaps even the current incarnation of the Republican Party.
