During Donald Trump’s speech at the FBI Academy graduation ceremony, he bashed former President Barack Obama while calling for militarized police forces. He told the crowd, “The president of the United States has your back 100 percent,” just after bashing the FBI to reporters earlier while on the White House lawn.
“Just as I promised, we are allowing our local police to access surplus military equipment,” Trump said, “something the previous administration for some reason refused to do. Explain that one. Explain it to me, please. Never understood that one. Somebody out there can explain it. Anybody want to stand up and explain it?”
Trump also called for the execution of anyone who kills a police officer even though the death penalty is not legal in many states.

We’ve all seen videos of executions by cops on unarmed individuals but Trump did not address that. Officials in Arizona recently released a jaw-dropping video after an officer was acquitted of second-degree murder charges. Daniel Shaver is seen crawling on his hands and knees and begging for his life just before he was shot and killed by police in January 2016. Shaver complied with the officer’s instructions and yet, he was still executed.
Trump has a profound jealousy of his predecessor. In contrast to Barack Obama, Trump is the least popular president in the history of polling. Trump will never be the leader Obama was and that’s because he makes everything all about him, instead of the country.
