Donald Trump just gave a rambling, off-script, 80-minute speech and it was really bizarre. The former reality show star flew to Pennsylvania tonight for a rally in order to stump for Rick Saccone (R) in what’s expected to be a close race but it took an hour before he invited the Republican candidate onstage. Trump won the district by 20 points in 2016 but Democrat Conor Lamb has been giving Saccone a run for his money in recent polls. Instead of stumping for Saccone, Trump made the rally all about him.
“I’m very presidential,” he told the crowd, then launched an impersonation while lowering his voice and standing artificially straight as he mocked what being presidential would be like.
“That’s easy,” he said. “Don’t forget, this got us elected,” he continued. “If I came like a stiff, you guys wouldn’t come here tonight.”

One person shouted: “You’re one of us!”
Trump, of course, bragged about his election victory, as if he almost can’t believe it himself and boasted about the large crowd at the rally.
Trump is now giving us a state-by-state, minute by minute, recounting of his election night victory. Nothing—zero—to do with #PA18 or Rick Saccone.

Trump launched an attack on NBC host Chuck Todd, calling him a “son of a bitch” and spoke of his strange desire to impose capital punishment on drug dealers, and described a discussion he had with Singapore’s president about that country’s approach.
Trump is once again calling for capital punishment for drug dealers, citing the oppressive government in Singapore as an example for the U.S. to follow.

Trump desperately wants this win in Pennsylvania because his endorsements have become toxic to candidates. The only problem is, he forgot to stump for this guy, and instead, he campaigned for himself.
