Trump Mansplains Muslim Ban In Tweetstorm, Then Blames Airlines (VIDEO)

Trump mansplains muslim travel ban

Amid plummeting approval numbers, former reality TV star and now U.S. President Donald Trump jumped on Twitter Monday morning trying to “mansplain” the outrageous chaos at airports around the nation over the weekend, thanks to his last-minute and unconstitutional Muslim travel ban order.

In fact, the whole Trump crew is trying to write it off as “no big deal.”

The ban, issued late on Friday, called a sudden and (supposed) temporary ban on travelers entering the U.S. from seven Muslim-majority countries. The ban created mass confusion at airports over the weekend, as well as massive protests. There was little time for security agents to prepare, and no contingencies were put into place for those holding valid green cards and visas.

But Trump is blaming Delta airlines.

“Only 109 people out of 325,000 were detained and held for questioning. Big problems at airports were caused by Delta computer outage,…..
protesters and the tears of Senator Schumer. Secretary Kelly said that all is going well with very few problems. MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN!

Trump then blamed the computer outage at Delta airline on Sunday that did cause a number of delays. However, they were minimal compared to the chaos created by Trump’s surprise travel ban order.

Trump seemed to be responding to a tweet posted by Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer on Friday after the news of the ban hit. The senator from New York is an outspoken critic of Donald Trump who has been tweeting and speaking up for the protesters filling airports and the lawyers who have donated services in order to free detainees being held.

After the ban was issued, Sen. Schumer posted the following on Twitter, drawing criticism from Trump.

“There are tears running down the cheeks of the Statue of Liberty tonight.”

Adding to the confusion, a federal court order by Judge Ann M. Donnelly of the Federal District Court in Brooklyn, New York, issued a ruling on Saturday evening, preventing the Department of Homeland Security from deporting incoming individuals and ordering them to allow those with valid visas and green cards to enter.

Despite the stay, Customs and Border Protection agents have been defying the court order, with four Democrats from the House of Representatives traveling to Dulles airport to verify if people were being illegally detained and denied access to legal counsel, according to The Guardian.

But Donald Trump is unapologetic about his last-minute, unconstitutional, and under-the-radar executive order issued at quarter to 5 p.m. on Friday. He continues his attempts to generate fear and paranoia regarding national security, despite flouting constitutional rights and due process of the law.

“There is nothing nice about searching for terrorists before they can enter our country. This was a big part of my campaign. Study the world!”

“If the ban were announced with a one week notice, the “bad” would rush into our country during that week. A lot of bad “dudes” out there!”

Although the Trump administration claims that the ban is not a religious test, and that it complies with precedent set regarding vetting of possible terrorists, the ban does not affect travelers from Muslim-majority countries in which the Trump Organization has done or is doing business, according to The Washington Post.
