On Sunday, a major earthquake struck large parts of northern Iraq as well as the capital Baghdad and it caused damage in villages across the border in Iran where state TV reported that at least six people had been killed.
Eight villages were damaged in Iran and at least six people were killed and many others were injured in the border town of Qasr-e Shirin in Iran when the earthquake, measuring at a magnitude of 7.3, hit.
Trump supporters celebrated the news under a Fox News’ post on Facebook, because of course they did.
The post reads, “BREAKING NEWS: A 7.2-magnitude earthquake jolted the Iran-Iraq border region, the USGS said, as structural damage was reported across the area,” and includes a link which reports the deaths, and some people are still buried underneath the rubble.
The responses were unkind, to say the least.
A few commenters wished the earthquake had struck California.
Conservatives sound just like ISIS and they ironically deem themselves to be ‘pro-life.’
“I was sitting with my kids having dinner and suddenly the building was just dancing in the air,” said Majida Ameer, who ran out of her building with her three children, according to Reuters. “I thought at first that it was a huge bomb. But then I heard everyone around me screaming ‘Earthquake!’”
